As the author correctly points out, families will certainly think twice before reporting an abusive family member. It’s already happening with Megan’s Law websites, so a big sign in the front yard will certainly deter reporting. Nota bene: It will deter reporting – it will NOT deter offending.
Some lawmakers really aren’t very bright!!
